About the event
Men's Group Awakening Field Trip!
Please join the Awakening Men’s Group as we venture outside Inner Haven to St Gregory's labyrinth in Deerfield. This labyrinth is modeled after the one laid in the floor of Chartres Cathedral, west of Paris, France, built around 1220. This labyrinth has eleven concentric circles surrounding a rosette center. It is unicursal: there is a single path into and out of the center. Unlike a maze, a labyrinth presents no dead ends or false turns.
The labyrinth is for anyone seeking healing of any kind, people in transition, meaning, purpose, understanding, peace, and those on a spiritual journey.
We will gather in the back parking lot (where the labyrinth is located) of St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church: 815 Wilmot Rd. Deerfield, IL 60015 https://maps.app.goo.gl/wrGS6kJQqG7n29dZ9
Let’s meet at 7:00 PM rain or shine! Walking while the sun sets. You are welcome to bring instruments: drums, rattles, flutes, etc.
