About the event

Cacao Ceremony Honoring the Ancestors

Between October 31st and November 2nd, many cultures across the world honor and remember their ancestors and deceased loved ones. Most of us are familiar with Day of the Dead in Mexico, or the Christian All Soul’s Day. It is time to offer our own version of this in community. We invite you to join us in this sacred joyous occasion of honoring your own ancestors as well as the collective. We will begin with a cacao ceremony leading into our ancestral remembrance.  The teaching essence of this plant medicine allows us to create an opportunity to move into our heart space and experience a deeper connection with self and the world around us. For centuries, Indigenous people have used Cacao, the teaching plant, to open their heart chakra and connect more deeply and fully to the earth, their community, and their ancestors.
